1,000th Offshore Windfarm Crane delivery by Granada

Granada Material Handling have delivered their 1,000th windfarm davit crane – as part of their contract for Hornsea Project One

A landmark for GMH, this reflects the company’s reputation across the offshore renewables sector, with GMH cranes already working on or specified for projects including: Nissum Bredning, Denmark; ongoing work with Orsted Energy for the Hornsea project; East Anglia ONE Windfarm for Scottish Power Renewables, as well as contracts with Babcock Intl. for the Beatrice Offshore Windfarm (BOWL) project.

Commenting on this landmark, Mark Sidwell, director of Granada Material Handling Limited, said,
“We are extremely pleased to have reached this prestigious milestone in our delivery programme; this is testament to our tried, tested and proven product and to our strong UK supply chain. With the recently announced contract wins for Granada at East Anglia 1 and Hornsea Offshore windfarms we expect a busy year ahead”

Granada are currently working with several windfarm developers on new projects and will announce further projects shortly.
