Planned crane maintenance that prevents downtime
Reactive repairs get you moving again, planned crane maintenance stops you breaking down in the first place. Granada Cranes provides crane maintenance services across the UK, from single scheduled visits to full crane maintenance contracts that cover every crane and hoist on your site, with servicing intervals set around your usage, duty and environment.
A maintenance visit covers the condition and function of your crane: structure, hoists, brakes, controls, limit switches, safety devices and wear components, with any faults reported through your online portal and repair recommendations agreed before work is carried out.

Crane servicing questions, answered
It depends on usage, duty cycle and environment, a crane in a wet or abrasive setting needs more frequent attention than a light-duty workshop unit. Most sites combine planned servicing visits with the statutory LOLER thorough examinations, which are required at least every 12 months for lifting equipment. Our team will recommend a schedule for your specific equipment.
Yes. As an independent crane company we service, repair and maintain all makes and models, including ABUS, Demag, Konecranes, Street Crane and SWF, not just cranes we've manufactured.
Servicing maintains the condition and function of the crane. A LOLER inspection is a formal thorough examination of lifting equipment required by law. They're different obligations, most sites need both, and we provide both.
Yes, planned schedules covering every crane and hoist on your site, so no service or examination due date ever slips.
Our 24/7 emergency line is answered every day of the year, and our nationwide breakdown team will diagnose the fault and get your crane back in service.
Every report is uploaded from our engineers' tablets and backed up to your own online portal, where you can access reports and certificates at any time.
