Heavy-duty joystick radio remote controls built for the most demanding industrial environments. Cattron systems are the standard choice in steel production, heavy engineering, and high-duty manufacturing – trusted by TATA Steel, British Steel, and major industrial groups across the UK.
When reliability isn’t optional and downtime costs thousands per hour, operators choose Cattron. These American-engineered systems are designed for the harshest industrial environments – steel mills, foundries, heavy fabrication, and continuous production facilities where equipment must work around the clock.
Impact-resistant housings, chemical/oil resistance, and rugged construction built to survive industrial abuse.
Replace individual components – joysticks, buttons, boards – without scrapping the entire unit.
Specified by TATA Steel, British Steel, PCT Group, and major industrial facilities across the UK.
EN 13849-1 Category 3 PL-d certified. TÜV-approved safety functions.
The LRC (Ladle Remote Control) series is our primary Cattron offering – bellybox-style transmitters with joystick control designed for steel production and heavy industrial lifting. We supply the full range from compact to fully customisable large-format units.
Medium / Customisable
Mid-sized bellybox with extensive customisation options. The most commonly specified Cattron for steel and heavy industrial applications.
Small / Standard Configuration
Pre-configured compact bellybox for standard crane applications. Ideal where a simple, reliable joystick control is needed without extensive customisation.
Large / Fully Customisable
Maximum capability for the most complex applications. Fully customisable layout with the highest number of control functions available.
Cattron’s secure RFID-based configuration system. The TransKey stores all system settings and can be transferred between units – enabling fast replacement without reprogramming. Each transmitter/receiver pair has a unique pairing code for security.
Support for tandem operation (two cranes from one transmitter) and multi-transmitter configurations. Ideal for coordinated lifting operations or allowing multiple operators to share control.
Unlike sealed units that must be replaced entirely when damaged, Cattron transmitters are designed for component-level repair. Joysticks, buttons, circuit boards, and housings can all be replaced individually – reducing repair costs and downtime.
Joysticks can be configured for stepped (digital) or stepless (proportional) operation. Proportional control allows precise speed adjustment for positioning work and VFD-equipped cranes.
While we primarily supply Cattron for joystick applications, push-button transmitters are available for simpler crane control requirements.
Compact, ergonomic push-button transmitter for standard cranes and lifting equipment. Lightweight and robust with positive two-step buttons.
Aluminium and rubber housed push-button transmitter. Extremely robust construction for harsh environments.
We design and manufacture lifting beams in-house, giving us full control over quality, lead times, and the ability to create truly bespoke solutions.
Standard receiver for LRC systems. Digital and analogue outputs.
Compact receiver with 12 relay outputs. Ideal for simple applications.
Enhanced CCM12 with additional features and diagnostics.
Multi-motion control unit for complex applications.
CAN Bus machine control unit for modern drive integration.
32-channel receiver for maximum output capacity.
