Crane Brake Unit Replacement and Upgrade in Hereford

Long travel brake unit replacement on this 15T Wellaman crane for one of our customers in Hereford.

After a long standing issue with the old thruster brake unit, it was time for an upgrade and a bit of modernisation. With the help of the on site machine shop modifying the new drum, making it like for like with the old one, so it marries up perfectly with the same motor shaft coupling and gearbox drive shaft.
