Been quiet with the LinkedIn posts recently showcasing our finished product, but that’s from lack of being busy I assure you!
This 10T underslung single girder crane installed to go with 3 other cranes of the same spec previously installed for one of our loyal customers in the Birmingham area.

Excited to announce the successful installation of a brand-new, 10,000kg Granada Cranes single girder box beam crane for a valued repeat customer. This project was not just about replacing the existing 3,200kg crane but represented a significant upgrade to the entire gantry system. With the addition of extra legs and uprated gantry beams, we’ve enhanced forklift access, ensuring a smoother workflow for our client. The installation also included the integration of new cross bracings to the now uprated gantry, reinforcing the structure’s integrity and safety.
Being involved in every stage of this crane’s journey, from fabrication and welding of the new crane, installation of the extra gantry columns, to the final installation and commissioning, has been a profoundly rewarding experience. It’s projects like these that showcase the depth of our team’s expertise and our commitment to delivering excellence.
I’m incredibly proud of the effort and dedication demonstrated by everyone at Granada Cranes. From the initial survey to the final handover, the project was executed seamlessly, despite the challenges posed by the tight space and limited access. This achievement is a testament to our team’s problem-solving skills and their unwavering focus on client satisfaction.

Granada Cranes most recent install for one of our customers in Loughborough. A 5000Kg single girder crane, complete with an underslung SWF hoist unit.
Many thanks to County Lifting Services Ltd for the lifts to get the crane and structure in place, especially with the extremely tight head space.

Two new motorised slew C hooks supplied and installed for one of our customers in Caerphilly.
All panels, reeling drum and C hooks configured and tested at Granada Cranes workshop in Oldbury to minimise down time on site.
Both fitted with bespoke anti rotation locking clamps, to prevent the rotation of the bottom block whilst the new C hooks are slewing.

A replacement C Rail system
A new 30m Colton Busbar System installed by Granada Cranes for our customer in Hereford.
One from last week for one if our customers in Hereford. The report came in that the top hat bush from the top of the jib arm had worn away. On further inspection it was discovered that the shaft and top boss cap had worn significantly
Jib arm loaded onto a wagon and sent back to our yard for repair by our fabricators.
